Maurice S. Rawlings Jr., MD is a graduate of the University of
Mississippi and Wake Forest Medical School. Dr. Rawlings completed his internship
and residency through the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and his surgical
oncology fellowship at the prestigious M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. After a decade
in general surgical oncology, Dr. Rawlings opened the Breast Center of Chattanooga
to focus his attention and resources on diseases and treatment of the breast. His
practice has been dedicated to the treatment of breast disease since 1996. |

Charles A. Portera Jr., MD completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee in
Knoxville and is a medical graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis.
Dr. Portera completed his general surgery residency at East Tennessee State University and his
surgical oncology fellowship at the prestigious M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. His
areas of expertise include the surgical treatment of cancers of the colon, rectum, pancreas, liver,
breast, skin and soft tissue, esophagus, and the stomach.
R. Hunter Jennings III, MD is a graduate of Davidson College and the
Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Jennings completed his residency at Emory with a fellowship
in liver transplantation and surgical critical care. His interests include surgery of the esophagus,
stomach, small bowel, colon, abdomen, liver and biliary tract, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen,
breast, skin and soft tissue, endocrine system, and critically ill patients with underlying surgical
problems.
